How to make Chocolate Peda - Chocolate lends its wonderful flavour, colour and taste to anything it is added too including pedas.

Main Ingredients : Dark chocolate (डार्क चॉकलेट), Mawa (khoya) (मावा/ खोवा )

Foreign invasions, trade relations and colonialism had introduced certain foods to the country like potato, chillies and breadfruit.  


Chocolate Peda Recipe Card

Ingredients for Chocolate Peda Recipe

  • Dark chocolate grated ½ cup

  • Mawa (khoya) crumbled 2 cups

  • Sugar ¼ cup

  • Liquid glucose ¼ teaspoon

  • Cashewnuts halved horizontally 8

Method

Step 1

Heat a non-stick pan, add the mawa and sugar and sauté on low heat, stirring continuously, for fifteen minutes. Transfer into a bowl.

Step 2

Add the liquid glucose and chocolate and mix well. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

Step 3

When the mixture cools, divide into twelve equal portions and shape into balls and arrange on a serving platter.

Step 4

Decorate with cashew nuts and serve.
