Ingredients for Cherry Halwa Recipe
Cherries pitted 500 grams
Ghee 2 tablespoons
Semolina (rawa/suji) 2 tablespoons
Sugar 3 tablespoons
Khoya/mawa grated 4 tablespoons
Almonds chopped 1 tablespoon
Pistachios chopped 1 tablespoon
Cashewnuts chopped 1 tablespoon
Green cardamom powder a pinch
Rose syrup 3 tablespoons + for garnishing
Method
Step 1
Heat ghee in a non-stick pan. Add semolina and sauté till light brown.
Step 2
Add cherries, mix well and cook till cherries are soft and pulpy.
