Ingredients for Neer More Recipe
Yogurt whisked 2 cups
Curry leaves chopped 8-10
Ginger seeded and chopped finely 1 inch piece
Green chilli chopped 1
Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1/4 cup
Roasted cumin powder 1 teaspoon
Asafoetida 1/4 teaspoon
Lemon juice 1 1/2 tablespoons
Salt to taste
Crushed ice 2 tablespoons
Fresh red chillies 4 for garnishing
Fresh mint sprigs 4 for garnishing
Method
Step 1
Lightly pound green chilli, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves, cumin powder, asafoetida, lemon juice and salt in a mortar with a pestle.
Step 2
Take the yogurt in a bowl. Add one and a quarter cups of water and whisk till smooth. Add the pounded mixture to the yogurt and mix well.
